Caravans – a British love affair

The above programme will be shown on BBC4 at 9:00pm on Wednesday 25th February. Made by Doubleband Films from Belfast it tells the story of caravanning in Britain from the 1950s through to the present day.

Several Guild members gave help and advice to Doubleband in the making of the film and some feature in it. They include Christine Fagg, Doug King, Peter Frost and John Rawlings. John says that as well as being interviewed he gave the programme makers cine  film of family holidays in the caravan in the 1960's and 70's.
